How to get the right file

Start with the serial number

Firmware and BIOS are specific to a platform and often to a revision of it. Applying a file intended for a different board is the one download-centre mistake that turns a working server into a bench repair, so files are matched to the system rather than listed generically.

Write to helpdesk@spectraindia.com with the product model and the serial number or asset tag, along with the operating system and version if the request is for a driver. If you are not sure which model you have, the serial number is enough for us to identify it.

For an estate under AMC or a multi-site rollout, we can supply a matched set for the whole standardised configuration rather than file by file — which is usually what a scheduled maintenance window actually needs.
