Warranty
Warranty policy
All NetBytes hardware includes warranty coverage as outlined in the applicable Warranty and Repairs policy. Duration and scope may vary by model, environment or commercial agreement.
Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, electrical surge, corrosion or environmental damage; use of unsupported or third-party modifications without approval; or software, configuration errors, cyberattacks or data loss.
Any replacements or repairs outside warranty coverage may be chargeable.
Returns
Returns and DOA policy
Returns are only accepted if approved under DOA or contractual terms
Customised or project-specific hardware is strictly non-returnable
DOA claims must be reported within the applicable window from delivery or installation date
Software
Software licensing and indemnity
NetBytes supplies hardware platforms that may support multiple operating systems, applications or third-party integrations. Unless explicitly included in a written commercial agreement, Spectra does not supply, license or authorise software installation except where clearly specified.
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring all installed software is properly licensed, legally acquired and compliant with OEM terms, copyright laws and regional regulations. NetBytes does not assume liability for mislicensed, free, evaluation, community or pirated software installed by the customer or third parties.
Software installation and compliance remain the customer's responsibility unless a written Software Licensing Agreement exists.
Indemnity: the customer indemnifies NetBytes, its employees, subsidiaries, channel partners and affiliates
Against claims arising from use of unlicensed or illegal software installed by the customer or its agents
Against export control, compliance, encryption or regulatory violations related to software usage

Privacy and liability
Privacy, and the limits of liability
Information collected — Spectra collects limited personal or business information for quotation, support and commercial communication. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
Not sold or shared — Information is not sold or shared with third parties except for support, compliance or logistics fulfilment.
Indirect damages excluded — NetBytes is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, loss of profit, business interruption or data loss.
Maximum liability — Liability shall not exceed the invoiced value of the affected hardware, or as stated in a formal contract.

Compliance declaration and governing law
Spectra supplies the compliance documentation that government, defence, PSU, healthcare, industrial and regulated environments require. Any compliance statements issued are valid only when provided in writing and specific to the project.
