Healthcare

Compute and storage for medical imaging, hospital information systems and clinical reporting, sized on study volume and retention policy.

The challenge

Healthcare IT sits where heavy compute meets strict process. PACS and RIS store and serve terabytes of DICOM that radiologists need immediately, hospital information systems run around the clock, and how long records are kept is set by policy rather than by IT. Equipment also shares space with sensitive medical electronics, and every purchase goes through an empanelment or tender process that asks for specific documentation.

Our approach

NetBytes sizes hospital infrastructure on the things that actually govern it: study volume by modality, the retention policy in force, and which systems are not allowed to pause. Flash tiers carry current studies and priors, ZFS rack storage carries the archive, and dual active-active controllers keep clinical access up through maintenance. Platforms are EMI/EMC tested for environments shared with medical electronics, built under ISO 9001, 27001 and 14001 processes, and supplied with the compliance pack an empanelment or tender asks for.
