Can one server run VMS, analytics and face recognition?

For small to mid-scale deployments, yes — a single AMD EPYC server with GPUs. For higher scale or strict uptime, we recommend separate VMS and AI or FR nodes.

What bay count should I choose?

8-bay for small sites, 12 or 16 for mid-scale, 24 for large retention or dense ingest. If storage is external, choose diskless.

Which RAID level is best for recording?

RAID 6 is a balanced default for capacity and resilience. RAID 10 offers higher write performance. For very large pools, consider RAID 60.

Do you support NVIDIA RTX and AMD Radeon GPUs?

Yes. 3U and 4U servers take RTX or Radeon Pro, and selected high-end cards in cost-optimised builds. For dense compact builds, SFF GPU modules — up to 5 single or 4 dual.

Which CPU should I pick?

Intel Xeon is the default for VMS recording, for I/O stability and proven behaviour with RAID caching. AMD EPYC is recommended for AI and FR, for PCIe lane count and multi-GPU scaling.

Local bays or diskless?

Local bays when on-premise retention is required or bandwidth to central storage is constrained. Diskless when connecting to SAN, NAS or object storage over high-speed links.
