Overview

The NetBytes VMS Server SRS4 is a configurable 2U video management server designed for enterprise surveillance deployments in India. Its dual-processor-capable platform supports 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors or newer, starting with a minimum of eight CPU cores. Memory can be configured from 16 GB to 512 GB to suit recording, management and associated surveillance workloads.

Eight hot-swappable drive bays accommodate both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives, enabling the storage configuration to be aligned with site retention policies and recording requirements. An included LSI Broadcom 12 Gbps RAID controller supports RAID 5, RAID 6 and RAID 10. The operating-system SSD is supplied according to customer requirements, allowing capacity and media selection to match the selected Windows or Linux environment.

Standard connectivity includes two 1GbE network interfaces and a dedicated IPMI management port. Projects that require additional network capacity can be configured with optional 10GbE RJ45 or SFP+ connectivity. Dual 800 W CRPS redundant power supplies support service continuity and simplify power-path planning in rack deployments.

The SRS4 supports deployment with leading VMS platforms, including Videonetics, i2V and Sparsh. Camera capacity is determined during solution sizing because it depends on factors such as resolution, frame rate, codec, retention period, analytics workload and the selected VMS vendor’s configuration. The standard three-year warranty can be extended to five years, providing procurement teams with a practical lifecycle option for surveillance infrastructure.
